SPT™ Announces Upcoming Tour Dates and Partnerships

SPT Vegas Spring Classic to Take Place April 8th-13th at Stratosphere Hotel, Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV – The Senior Poker Tour enjoyed a successful inaugural event series at Horseshoe Tunica and has announced its newest series, the SPT Vegas Spring Classic April 8th-13th at Stratosphere Casino in Las Vegas. The 12 event series with moderate buy-ins, kicks off with a $70 Survivor Mega Satellite to the SPT Championship where the top 10% of finishers make the $550 SPT Championship.

“SPT is growing very quickly and we’re aligning with other poker tours who share our vision. We’re proud to announce a partnership with PPC Poker Tour with our first event at Tampa Bay Downs on March 11th at 1pm where qualifiers will win a seat to the PPC Aruba senior event in October. Additionally we’re thrilled to be part of the newly established Pocket Fives Poker Tour with our first event at their launch series at Running Aces on April 6th at 10am in Minnesota.” Said Lupe Soto, SPT CEO.

Team SPT is growing with the additions of Donna Blevins, Robert “Chip Burner” Turner and Nancy Todd Tyner. Donna is a professional poker player, speaker, author and coach. Robert is a legendary poker player and casino marketing expert. Nancy is an international political consultant and poker player with a WPT Ladies Night title. Players will be able to meet these pros at various locations around the country.

Glen Biddle of Centerville, AR who was crowned the Main Event Champion in the inaugural Tunica Series winning $16,432 stated after his big win “the Senior Poker Tour should be proud of the way they have handled everything”. Glen fought his way through a tough field that included SPT Pros, Susie Isaacs, Marsha Waggoner, Mark Kroon, Dennis Phillips and Tom McEvoy. When asked what he would do with the money, Glen said a portion “would be used to attend the next Senior Poker Tour event In April”.
